The Band

Few bands in rock history have dared to break the mould, and fewer bands, even, are comparible to the puissant False Intentions. When the black country four-piece hit the scene in 2016, mainstream radio was awash with heavy metal and indie rock. But amidst the shadows came a new wave, an exciting plethora of original rock-ready riffs; raw invigoration was king.

False Intentions have many influences, from metal to hard rock (Halestorm, Nickelback, Avenged Sevenfold), but at their pounding heart beats grunge, and they beat it loudly. Listen to the tracks though, and you will hear diversity, a sound of experience that originated from quite different backgrounds. Jamie, Laura, and Matt, having left April Black, hard rock, and Steve - invited to join whilst the trio were at a Shinedown concert - who was on hiatus after a long stint with an unsigned brit-rock act, Outbreak.

 

Being a relatively new band, they currently spend a lot of time bouncing around from studio to stage floor playing O2 Academy's, local bars, and your favourite local rock venues, False Intentions have yet to release their first album, but have met with positive feedback, and are regular favourites on Windmill Broadcasting, and Neue Regelradio USA - a popular online radio station - and the She Wolf show.
